We are a bootstrapped tech startup based in Bangalore. Currently, we operate with a small tech team serving clients across the world, mostly in med-tech and related domains. We have some innovative and next-generation med-tech projects in our portfolio we have developed for the US market. We work on our product initiatives that are planned to be launched by the end of 2021. We aim to develop simple and painless business tools, so our customers don't end up attending lectures on how to use them because simplicity is underrated.
About the job
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on programming in Java, Spring Boot & Hibernate
2. Work on the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Framework, MVC, Spring Data, Spring Boot, etc.)
3. Understand and work on No-SQL/SQL database technologies, RESTful services, caching data stores (Redis), queuing systems (RabbitMQ), Maven/Gradle, and search technologies (Elastic Search)
4. Understand and work on continuous integration/delivery and tools, such as Git/GitHub & Bamboo/Jenkins
5. Understand and work on unit testing (Junit) & mocking frameworks (Mockito)
6. Work on HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
7. Work on building microservices and multithreaded applications
8. Understand and work on cloud application development and deployment (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services)
9. Understand and work on industry-standard protocols related to API security, including OAuth and JWT
10. Work on design and programming using JSON, web services, XML, and PL/SQL
11. Work on Oracle/Postgres database
Probation details: The job will start with a probation period of 6 months, during which the salary will remain the same.
