We are social enterprise building products focused on helping social impact organizations and programs to scale their work. We think that whether organizations are scaling up or out, creating a dynamic repository of tools, or approaches information by experiences of the field teams is critical. As a team, we work at the intersection of designing and building technology & human-centered design. We focus on operational and program needs. Previous to building Ooloi Labs, we have consulted across a variety of sectors, including education, livelihood, WASH, maternal and reproductive health, mental health, and financial inclusion.
About the job
Key responsibilities: 1. Develop new user-facing features using ReactJS 2. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use 3. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code 4. Work on optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers 5. Refine our existing components, develop new user input components & ensure the architecture of the same is easily extendable 6. Input components & work on the front end, which includes implementing the design of pages and features to pixel perfection 7. Work on writing tests using React Testing Library 8. Continuously strive towards optimizing the performance of our frontend using techniques like code-splitting, memoizing, tree-shaking, and diving into service workers and browser caching (if you are up for it)

Who can apply
1. Super proficient with CSS & styled-components 2. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements 3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model 4. Thorough understanding of ReactJS and its core principles 5. Experience with ReactQuery, RESTful APIs, common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. 6. Familiarity with Draft.js, newer specifications of EcmaScript, modern front-end build pipelines and tools, and code versioning tools (such as Git) 7. Experience or familiarity with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token 8. Familiarity with agile design and development workflows and task management tools like Trello 9. Familiarity with Node.js
